Zachary Treisman

I've moved to UBC.

I am a Visiting Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Washington. Previously, I've spent my academic time at the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research in Mumbai, India as a postdoc, here at UW as a grad student, at Reed College as an undergrad.

My broad area of study is Algebraic Geometry. More specifically, I am interested in the minimal model program, the geometry of almost rational varieties (of the sort that the minimal model program doesn't say much about), and the various algebro-geometric tools and methods utilizing arc spaces.
