Homework 1 is due Friday, January 18 I have posted two new handouts. The first contains two examples of matrices being reduced to reduced echelon form via elementary row operations (including the example we started working out in class). The second includes a list of mathematical symbols I would like to start using in class to try and speed up the lectures.
