| Midterm: May 2 (Friday, in class, covering up to Chapter 3 Section 5) |
| Final: June 11 (Wednesday, 8:30am--10:20am, LOW 101, cumulative) |

| Assigned weekly and due on Wednesday at the beginning of the class. |
| Important: |
| • Make ups are permitted only under exceptional circumstances. |
| • A piece of notes (8.5*11 inches, letter size, one side) will be |
| allowed on the midterm and the final, along with a scientific |
| (but not graphing) calculator. |
| • Late homework will not be accepted, but the lowest homework grade |
| will be dropped. |
| • Feel free to work with other people on your homework, but you must |
| write your solutions yourself. |
| • Grader will grade two or three problems from each assignment |
| carefully, and check the completeness of other problems. |
