Textbook:
     Elementary Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems
     by W. E. Boyce and R. C. DiPrima, 8th edition
Course Plan:
     Chapter 2: Section 1,2,3,4,5,7
     Chapter 3: Section 1,4,5,6,8,9
     Chapter 6: Section 1,2,3,4
Prerequisite: Math 125; Math 126 strongly recommended

Exam Schedule:
     Midterm : May 2 (Friday, in class, covering up to Chapter 3 Section 5)
     Final: June 9 (Monday, 8:30am--10:20am, LOW 201, cumulative)
Grading Policy:
     Homework  15%
     Midterm  35%
     Final  50%
Homework:
     Assigned weekly and due on Wednesday at the beginning of the class.

Important:
     • Make ups are permitted only under exceptional circumstances.
     • A piece of notes (8.5*11 inches, letter size, one side) will be
      allowed on the midterm and the final, along with a scientific
      (but not graphing) calculator.
     • Late homework will not be accepted, but the lowest homework grade
      will be dropped.
     • Feel free to work with other people on your homework, but you must
      write your solutions yourself.
     • Grader will grade two or three problems from each assignment
      carefully, and check the completeness of other problems.
