Cris Negron has received a Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation. Already the recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, Cris has been working on noncommutative algebra and noncommutative algebraic geometry under the supervision of James Zhang. He will continue his research next year at Louisiana State University, and then as a postdoc at MIT.
